Who it helps
- Runners, cyclists and gym-goers in heavy training
- Tight calves, hamstrings, back or shoulders
- Recovery after a race or a big event
- Desk workers with stiff necks and shoulders
- Anyone who wants massage alongside a rehab plan
What a session involves
We ask about your training, any injuries and what feels tight, then work on the areas that need it most. Expect firm pressure that you control, so say if it is too much. Wear or bring shorts, and leave a day between a session and a hard workout or race.
Who you will see

How a course of treatment works.
Most plans follow three stages, reviewed with you at each appointment.
- Step 1: AskYour training, your goals and what feels tight.
- Step 2: WorkFirm, focused massage on the areas that need it.
- Step 3: RecoverSimple stretches and timing around your training.
Sports massage: your questions.
All questionsIs sports massage the same as physiotherapy?
No. Sports massage works on muscles and soft tissue. If you have pain or an injury that needs assessing, book a physiotherapy appointment first, and we can add massage to your plan.
Does it hurt?
It can feel firm, and you may be a little sore the next day. You are in charge of the pressure, so tell your therapist if it is too much.
When should I book before an event?
Two to four days before usually works well, so your legs feel fresh on the day. A lighter session afterwards can help with stiffness.
