Who it helps
- Ankle and knee sprains
- Muscle strains, such as a calf or hamstring
- Running injuries, such as shin or knee pain
- Shoulder and elbow pain from racket or gym sports
- Anyone getting back to sport after time off
What a session involves
Your first session is 45 minutes. We ask how the injury happened and what your training looks like, then test how the area moves, how strong it is and what brings the pain on. Treatment can include hands-on therapy, taping and exercise, and you leave with a short programme for home.
Who you will see

How a course of treatment works.
Most plans follow three stages, reviewed with you at each appointment.
- Step 1: AssessHow it happened, how it moves and what makes it worse.
- Step 2: TreatHands-on treatment and taping where they help.
- Step 3: ProgressLoading and drills that step up as you recover.
Sports injury: your questions.
All questionsShould I rest or keep training?
Often you can keep doing some training. We will tell you what to change, what to keep and what to stop for now, so you lose as little fitness as possible.
How soon after an injury should I come in?
Within a few days is ideal for a sprain or strain. If you cannot put weight on a limb, or a joint looks out of shape, go to an urgent treatment centre or A&E first.
Can you show me how to tape for matches?
Yes. We can teach you to tape a joint yourself for training and matches, so you are not relying on an appointment before every game.
