What a session involves
We start with your story: when it began, what eases it and what you need to get back to. Then we look at how your spine and hips move, and check the nerves where needed. Treatment may include hands-on therapy and a few exercises chosen for you, with advice on work, sleep and staying active.

Back and neck pain: your questions.
All questionsDo I need a scan?
Most people with back or neck pain do not need one. If we think a scan or a doctor’s opinion would help, we will explain why and write to your GP.
Is it safe to keep moving?
For most back pain, gentle activity helps more than rest. We will show you what is safe to do and how to ease off when it flares.
When should I get urgent help?
Call 999 or go to A&E if back pain comes with numbness around your bottom or genitals, new problems controlling your bladder or bowels, or weakness in both legs.
